Fighting

Boxing

One to the gut
One to the gut

A third slower than brawl and twice as strong with a small chance to Disorient. If you're looking for another punch power or need the Disorient to fit a concept character, go for it. Otherwise, the only reason to take it is you want Tough and Weave, but not Kick.

I've notitced that most guides and sample builds take boxing over kick. I expect it's because of the shorter activation time and lack of knockback (which most builds can't handle very well).

Kick

Offa my wall you!
Offa my wall you!

Takes twice as long to Activate than brawl, does twice the damage, and has a small chance to Knockback. Good for a concept character that needs either another kick or Knockback power, but fairly pointless otherwise unless your build just has a lot of useless powers in your main sets.

Tough

Rarr! Bring it!
Rarr! Bring it!

A Toggle power that increase resistance to Smashing and Lethal damage. Useful for up close fighters, not so good for people who don't ever enter Melee range.

Weave

Try and hit me. Go ahead. Try!
Try and hit me. Go ahead. Try!

A Toggle power that increase defense to Ranged and Melee damage. Useful for up close fighters, not so good for people who don't ever enter Melee range. One thing to note, most powers increase defense by about 2.5%, but Weave is over 4% without Enhancement. Very nice.

Presence

This is an odd class in that almost no ATs have any use for. For the most part, if you're not a tank or scrapper, there's really no point at all. Even then, tanks always have taunt powers already.

Challenge

Hey! Pantywaist!
Hey! Pantywaist!

A weak taunt on a single target. Honestly, if there's any use for this power, please let me know.

I have no idea how you would slot any of these powers because I can't see ever taking them. About the only use I can think of is better crowd control for tanks now that taunts have been defintion for : ner not found to only affect a limited number of enemies in a single application.

Provoke

You guys are babies!
You guys are babies!

A weak taunt on a single target and anyone hear him. Does anyone but a Tank use this?.

Intimidate

Boo! Ha, what a Wuss
Boo! Ha, what a Wuss

Scares an enemy and makes him run for a while. Most people hate powers like this because they don't want enemies running away.

When I tried this power, he didn't run, just assumed the fear position and stayed there. Maybe it's changes since I read the description for it.

Invoke Panic

There will be no survivors!
There will be no survivors!

Scares all enemies in an AoE around you. Less useful in the past when they would run, but I think they've changed the power now. Everything around you assumes the fear position which is a pretty neat control power for anyone who can use enough of the previous three powers to get this one.
